Toulon-Hyères International Airport is located in Hyères, just 23 Km from Toulon and 52 Km from Saint-Tropez. A bus service that is operated by "Sodetrav-Reseau Mistral" runs from the airport to Toulon. The bus stop is opposite the main terminal entrance. Journey time to Toulon is approximatly 40 minutes; cost is 1.40 €. For further information check www.sodetrav.fr. There is also a taxi rank outside the terminal. A taxi to Hyères costs approximately €15 & journey time is 10 minutes; a taxi to Toulon is approximately €50 with journey time of 20 minutes.

Transportation from the airport to Hyères

Transfers are available from Toulon Airport to Hyères, Toulon and Saint-Tropez. With a central geographical starting point in Provence Côte d'Azur, very affordable bus transfers are available daily for €1.40 one way from the airport to the Bus station of Hyères (10 min) and Bus/Train stations of Toulon (30 min) giving access to a large choice of destinations in Provence Côte d'Azur through the railway system. On the west side, Marseille or Aix-en-Provence are less than 30 minutes away by train and you can travel East by train to Le Luc, Fréjus-St Raphaël or Cannes and Nice.

Direct bus services (4 times daily - €20.90 one way) from the airport to Saint-Tropez are operational on week-ends (Fri-Sat-Sun). Daily service in July and August. For times schedule/destinations, consult http://www.sodetrav.fr or http://www.ter-sncf.com/paca/index.asp.

By car
Coming from the A8 highway (Nice - Aix motorway), take the exit for Toulon (A57) for 46 km, then follow the indications for Hyères / Saint-Tropez and continue on the A570 for 8.5 km, then on the roundabout take the second exit and continue on Voie Olbia (N98) for 0.4 km, then turn right on D559 for 3 km and turn right on D97 for 3 km. On the roundabout you will take the 3rd exit on your right on D42 to arrive at the airport's entrance facing the Mediterranean Sea.

Coming from Marseille and Aix, via the A50 motorway, you must follow Toulon on the highway and then cross the city of Toulon for 3 km. You will then see a sign for Hyères Airport, so follow the A570 (as above).

By taxi
The taxi rank, in front of the terminal building, is only a few meters from the baggage reclaim hall. In less than 2 minutes, you will be driving along the coast. Taxi fares are reasonable (available for 1 to 4 persons):
