Why do Ryanair block off seats at the front and back of the aircraft? |

Due to aircraft performance limits set down by Boeing, Ryanair are required to block off seats onboard when the number of passengers on board falls below a specified number. This ensures that the weight of passengers and bags carried is equally distributed in front of and behind the aircraft’s centre of gravity.
