Limone Piemonte

80 km of runs, 16 ropeways, a wonderful conch which links the 3 valleys and offers both beginners and experts the chance to choose their level of difficulty: this is the Riserva Bianca's visiting card in Limone Piemonte province of Cuneo.

This ski area, already gives the so called "Regione delle Alpi del Mare" decidedly convenient and easy tourism: obviously close at hand for the three above stated areas, it gives people the chance to ski in a resort at competitive prices and where the runs (although some ski lifts are still to be totally completed), give great satisfaction for those who love skiing in a place where the environment is both fascinating and wild.

There is no doubt about the beauty of the scenery at the Riserva Bianca: all you need to do is spend a day in the conch of Limone Piemonte to realize the uniqueness of the place. In winter it nearly always has natural snow and a temperature which allows people to ski in comfort and safety.

Getting There

Limone Piemonte is about 45 minutes by car from the airport of Cuneo Levaldigi and less than two hours from Torino Caselle, Genova and Nice Cote d'Azur.

  • By Car: 
    Arriving by car from Cuneo/Levaldigi take the E74-SS20 that will lead you direct to the destination. From Turin you will find the ski runs of the 'Riserva Bianca' about 50km from the 'Fossano' motorway exit , which is on the A6 Torino-Savona (Km 62). If you are arriving from Liguria the motorway is the same (A6 Torino-Savona), but the recommended exit is Mondovì (Km 77), still about 50 Km from the ski runs. Alternately those who wish to arrive from Nizza/Ventimiglia should take the S.S. 20 which gets to the Colle di Tenda and Quota 1400 or Limonetto, which are both starting points of the Riserva Bianca

  • By Train: 
    Limone Piemonte is easily accessible by train. It's on the Torino-Cuneo-Ventimiglia (Nizza) line. The updated time tables for all train connections can be found on the Trenitalia site and on the French rail times site. Frequent busses run the skiiers to and from the ski area.
