Can I bring my own oxygen onboard? |
|
No, for safety reasons Ryanair does not permit passengers to bring their own oxygen on board our aircraft. If therapeutic oxygen is required for use during the flight it must be pre-booked by calling the Ryanair Special Assistance Line preferably on the same day as the flight booking is made or at the latest 7 days prior to travel. N.B. Passengers requiring oxygen must carry a letter in English from their doctor (dated within 2 weeks of intended date of travel) which specifically confirms that:
Passengers will not be accepted for travel without this letter. Ryanair can supply therapeutic oxygen at two flow rates and the flow rate required must be confirmed as suitable in writing by your doctor.
We recommend that customers requiring a continuous supply of oxygen for more than 240 minutes at low flow should not travel on Ryanair. However, customers should also refer to our policy on the use of portable oxygen concentrators onboard our aircraft. Please see our question for "How can I book Oxygen" for further details. |
