Do I need to pre-advise Ryanair if I am Deaf and travelling alone? |
|
If a deaf passenger requires individual assistance in the form of assistance to the boarding gate or for a separate safety briefing on board the aircraft then they must pre-advise us via the Ryanair Special Assistance Line Due to the safety limitation of four special assistance passengers per flight, notification of a passenger's condition and any request for special assistance should be made either at the time of online booking or via the Ryanair Special Assistance Line-preferably on the same day as booking. Please note: failure to pre-book special assistance services may result is these services being unavailable and the passenger being unable to travel. Passengers who have pre-advised their condition should arrive at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to the flight departure. They will be boarded after general boarding has been completed and seats will be reserved onboard. Deaf passengers who are able to fully understand our onboard safety demonstration and leaflet and who do not require any individual assistance are not required to notify us of their condition and are not subject to the safety limitation of four special assistance passengers per flight. If you are hard of hearing, but use a corrective device which enables you to hear clearly and you do not require individual assistance; then there is no requirement for you to notify us of your reduced hearing. |
