• Peyragudes: the resort – Two skiing areas and a guaranteed snow cover

  At the foot of the pistes, overlooking the Louron and Larboust valleys, Peyragudes offers a wonderful ski area in a protected environment. The resort is divided over two mountain sides- Agudes and Peyresourde, both villages are at the foot of the pistes. Since its creation Peyragudes has constantly innovated with a particularly well developed programme of activities.

• Skiing in Peyragudes

  Peyragude has 60kms of pisted runs covering 1500 hectares between 1600 and 2400 metres of altitude, and served by 4 high-speed lifts. The 230 snow cannons are computer operated, snow cover is guaranteed throughout the winter. The animated snowpark and its activities will satisfy the most ardent thrill seeker; boardercross and freeride. Peyragudes also has a waymarked off-piste itinerary which is 6kms long and a restaurant chalet with a panoramic view terrace

• Accommodation

  Small group of semi-detached chalets and 3* and 4* class tourist residences in the Pyrenees architectural style with a view overlooking the Louron valley. In the valley: hotels, hostels, guest rooms and group hostels. Camping-car park

• Spa bath and the Après-ski

  For the apres-ski there is lots on offer the Balnea Spa baths with its well-being and relaxation area in naturally heated thermal waters. You can enjoy the 4 spaces: Roman baths for adults, Amerindian for families, Tibetan for customized care an Japanese with outdoor baths. Try airboard sessions at the foot of the pistes, have convivial evenings in the village restaurants and tapas bars, enjoy a mulled wine in front of the fire at a mountain restaurant.

• The resort overview

  Peyragudes has a large range of activities, from nordic skiing and snowshoe circuits to sled dogs, speed riding, paragliding, airboard (inflatable toboggan), constructions of igloos. If you come with young children, no matter you can also have some fun on the slopes thanks to kinder gardens and snow gardens for children over 18 months of age.

• The resort strong point

  Quality accommodation, all the 3 and 4 star rated chalets and apartments have been constructed in the local Pyrenean style and offer wonderful views over the valley. A team of dedicated professionals on hand to welcome the holidaymaker upon their arrival, to give advice on the ski area and offer a warming hot chocolate.

  From Lourdes Pyrenees airport: About 1h30 drive.
  Motorway A64 towards Toulouse
  Exit 16 Lannemezan/Arreau, then continue towards Arreau
  After Arreau take D618 towards Bordères Louron and then D117 towards Peyragudes.
