Ryanair, Europe's largest low fares airline, confirms that ALL passengers are now required to check-in online and bring their printed boarding pass(es) to the airport. Each boarding pass must be printed on a separate page.

Online check-in is available from 15 days up to 4 hours prior to scheduled flight departure.  Once you have completed the online check-in process your boarding pass can be reprinted up to 40 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure. If you do not check-in online, you will be required to pay the relevant penalty to re-issue your boarding card at the airport (Euro 40/ GBP 40).  This facility is only available up to 40 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure.  Please call our Reservations Centre to correct or amend any photo ID details that have been incorrectly entered or reissued.

NON EU/EEA Passengers

ALL Non EEA/EU passengers MUST present their online boarding pass and passport to be checked and stamped at the Passport/Document Check Desk  BEFORE going through security or travel will be refused.  The Passport/Document Check Desk closes strictly 40 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure.

Accepted Photo-ID on Ryanair Flights

The following are the only accepted forms of photo ID

• A valid passport - ( see below - */and ** below)
• A valid National Identity Card issued by the government of a European Economic Area (EEA) country. (Only the following EEA countries issue National Identity Cards acceptable for carriage on Ryanair flights: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK)
• A valid German Government issued Kinderausweis travel document
• A valid Italian Certificato Di Nascita which has been endorsed as "VALIDO PER L'ESPATRIO" valid for travel and signed by "IL QUESTORE". It is the passenger's personal responsibility to ensure that this document meets the requirements of immigration and other governmental authorities at the destination airport - see ** below.
• A valid UN Refugee Convention Travel Document - (issued in accordance with Article 28(1) of the 1951 UN Convention, by a Government in place of a valid passport.)
• A valid Convention Travel Document - (issued in accordance with Article 27 of the 1954 UN Convention for Stateless Persons, by a contracting state in place of a valid passport)

*  It is acceptable for children under 16 to travel on the valid passport of the parent with whom they are travelling,  if they are included on that passport

**   When a child is listed on the valid passport of the parent with whom they are travelling the accompanying adult's travel document details must be duplicated in the child's document details section during the online check-in process.

Unacceptable Photo ID on Ryanair Flights

Ryanair does NOT accept driver licences, residence cards, family books, seaman books, Ministerial ID's, military ID cards, Italian AT/BT cards etc. Expired or damaged forms of photo-id will not be accepted on any flight. Bag Drop Desks

Passengers travelling with checked luggage will be required to present their online boarding pass and checked baggage at the airport bag drop desk.  Bag drop desks open 2 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure and close strictly 40 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure).

Unaccompanied Minors

Ryanair does not carry unaccompanied minors (under 16 years). Escort and special facilities are NOT available.
