  This resort which is situated a few paces from the Spanish border offers a brilliant playground for skiers and boarders.
  Piau is at the foot of the pistes. It has a real high mountain feel and offers magnificent panoramas, its buildings literally melt into the slopes.

• Skiing in Piau-Engaly

  The ski area of Piau Engaly has 41 pisted runs with a 1100 metre drop.
  'Big Blue' (La Grand Bleu) is a 7kms long run and is an ideal way to discover the ski area, there is also a huge beginners' area, wide cruising pistes, some technically difficult slopes and freeride runs in the Badet valley and a snowboard space with boardercross, with big airs, handrails...
  And so you do not lose any time at all... high-speed lifts. Perfect snow conditions are contractually guaranteed all season!

• Spa bath and the Après-ski

  For the apres-ski Piau Engaly offers all sorts of activities, themed evenings, entertainments, games, night skiing, and why not a little relaxation at the Sensoria Spa baths in Saint-Lary, 20 km away.

• The resort overview

  Cars are not allowed in the resort, there is access for pedestrians to all the services the resort is completely secured.
  Apart from skiing, you can do several activities: ice falls climbing, diving beneath frozen lakes, dog-sleigh or snowshoe outings.
  Children will discover skiing in the beginners' area at the foot of the snow cover, fully secured with dedicated lifts. Your children between 3 month old and 12 year olds can go to the kindergartens and snow gardens.

  Motorway A64 towards Toulouse
  Exit 16 Lannemezan/Arreau, then continue towards Arreau
  After Arreau take D929 towards Saint-Lary-Soulan and Fabian
  After Fabian take D118 towards Piau-Engaly.
