Tarvisio

Located on the border between Italy, Austria and Slovenia, the huge area around Tarvisio and Sella Nevea offers skiers an international skipass which is valid for the slopes of three countries while for cross country skiers there are hundreds of kilometres of tracks running through breathtaking scenery.

Getting There

  • By Car: 
    Follow the A23 Alpe Adria motorway and take the last Italian exit for Tarvisio. Alternatively follow the main road SS.13 Pontebbana to Tarvisio. Tarvisio is located 135km from Trieste International Airport. Hertz offer all Ryanair passengers special discounted rates on car hire.

  • By Train: 
    Busses are available from the airport and the railway station to Udine where an intergrated bus & train service is operated to Tarvisio. Alternatively, take the Rome- Vienna train from Udine station.
