Aircraft Appearance Assistant

Location: Stansted Airport

Reports to: Aircraft Appearance Manager

SAMS (Stansted Aircraft Maintenance Systems) are currently hiring Aircraft Appearance Assistant Based in London, Stansted Airport, you will be working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair, Europe's number one low fares airline. Duties Include:

  • Directly assisting the Aircraft Appearance Supervisor
  • Ensuring interior Aircraft standards are maintained by contracted companies and Ryanair Trim Shop personnel.
  • Monitor and controlling costs associated with cleaning, materials and appearance related services
  • Delegate work for trimmers and third party contractors
  • Producing spreadsheets and ensuring effective control of services carried out on fleet of aircraft. Ensure all work is logged.
  • Direct correspondence with supplier representatives
  • Carry out regular base audits and continuously monitor standards Monitor and audit contractor's compliance of Ryanair Security, Engineering procedures and all other relevant notices, procedures and manuals.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • FLEXIBLE APPROACH TO WORKING IN FAST CHANGING ENVIRONMENT
  • WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL AND WORK AWAY FROM BASES
  • FLEXIBLE TO TRAVEL AND WORK AWAY FROM BASE
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND TEAM SKILLS
  • BE HIGHLY ORGANISED AND HAVE THE ABILITY TO HANDLE A WIDE VARIETY OF TASKS IN A HIGHLY PRESSURISED ENVIRONMENT.
  • PROVEN COMPUTER SKILLS
  • BE NUMERICALLY COMPETENT
  • ABLE TO WORK WITHOUT DIRECT SUPERVISION
  • PROVEN ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS
  • COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY AN ADVANTAGE
