Ryanair, the world’s largest international scheduled airline, is now seeking a Head of Ancillary Revenue.
Ryanair has changed the face of aviation in Europe by providing low cost air travel to millions of European consumers. Ancillary revenues are key to our ability to drive down fares, grow our business and beat our high fare competitors who are busy cutting capacity and levying rip-off fuel surcharges. Ryanair.com, Europe’s largest travel website with over 40 million visitors per month, plays a crucial role in supporting the growth of the airline. The Head of Ancillary Revenue will be responsible for growing Ryanair’s internet based revenues including car rental, insurance and hotel accommodation.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive & Chief Operating Officer and managing a small team, you will be expected to build on Ryanair’s pre-eminent position as the number one airline for ancillary revenue per passenger with continued development of existing revenue streams and innovative and imaginative growth of new sources of ancillary income.
This is a senior position in the largest and fastest growing airline in Europe and consequently only candidates of the highest calibre will be considered. Preferred background will be in the FMCG sector, ideally with experience of internet sales and marketing. The successful candidate must have excellent commercial skills with the ability to negotiate complex contracts at the highest level. The position calls for strong organisational and communication skills and the successful candidate must be able to motivate and focus a small but driven team.
This position will be based in Dublin.
