Base and Line Maintenance Technical Liaison Engineer

Location: PAML Prestwick

Reports to: Heavy Maintenance Manager

Ryanair operates a fleet of 250 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with firm orders for a further 64 new aircraft (before taking account of planned disposals), which will be delivered over the next 2 years. Ryanair currently has a team of more than 8,000 people and expects to carry approximately 73.5 million passengers in the current fiscal year.

Duties Include:

Based in Glasgow Prestwick you will oversee the detailed running of PIK Line/Base and EDL line maintenance provider PAML. Be prepared to cover AOG or staff shortages at any of the stations, this may also include weekends. The role will require you to have a full understanding what scheduled and casualty maintenance is being accompkished at you nominated bases, ensuring RYR recieve a safe, high quality product within the agreed downtime, whilst maintaining and improving the maintenance technical standards of our fleet.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • B1 and B2 certification on B737-800
  • Flexible approach to working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellnet Communication Skills, Good Computer Literacy
  • We Require self-motivated individuals who are able to work without direct supervision
