Engineering Maintenance Manager Stansted

Location: London, Stansted

Reports to: Engineering Manager UK

Duties Include:

The role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager UK bases. You will have responsibility for managing the team of people responsible for engineering activities at the Stansted base.

Duties
  • Ensuring that the engineering team carries out it duties in accordance with company procedures and to the required standard.
  • Manpower recruitment, planning and rostering
  • Performance management.
  • Ensuring appropriate spares and equipment are available at each base.
  • Negotiation and management of contracts with external suppliers.
  • Investigating maintenance delays and implementing strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Budgeting and planning.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Clear understanding of the importance of standards
  • Ability to manage a team of engineers
  • Line maintenance experience
  • Flexible approach to working in fast changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
