Management Trainee Programme

Ryanair is the world's favourite airline with 44 bases and over 1,100 low fare routes across 26 countries. As we continue to grow and expand the business we are constantly looking for ambitious and talented people who will help grow our business and profit.

We are now inviting applications for the Ryanair Management Trainee Programme commencing in November 2010. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to experience a number of different areas of the company. During the course of the programme you could be working in our head office (Marketing, Finance, Commercial etc.), crewing, cabin crew, check-in or the ramp - one thing's for certain you'll be kept busy.

Duties Include:

During Ryanair's 18 month programme you'll work in multiple departments where you'll get to experience the day to day workings of the world's largest low fares airline. The purpose of the programme is for you to understand the nuts and bolts of the business and to equip you with the knowledge to manage aspects of the business in the future.

The purpose of the programme is to give successful candidates a wide understanding of the day to day workings of Ryanair with a view to ultimately securing a management role within the company. Previous graduates of this programme are currently employed as Head of Inflight Department, Rostering Manager, Communications Manager and Recruitment Manager.

Experience and Qualifications:

What qualifications / skills do I need to apply?Ryanair is looking for candidates who are confident and enthusiastic with a hunger for career success. Successful candidates must display energy, commitment and savvy.

The successful candidates will have:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills;
  • Strong writing skills;
  • The ability to learn quickly;
  • Ambition and a strong will to succeed;
  • No airs and graces - just a willingness to get on with it;
  • Track record of personal achievement
No bullshitters or waffle merchants! This position will be based primarily in Ryanair's Offices at Dublin Airport, however, during the course of the programme you may be placed for a period of time at any of Ryanair's Bases without additional remuneration so you have to be willing to travel and re-locate temporarily.

This is a fixed term programme for 18 months, ending in May 2012, at which point you complete your contract unless you have already secured another role within the company.
