Fez Airport is located approximately 10 Km outside of Fez. There are no rail connections from the airport and there is no bus service from the airport to the city. There is a taxi service and the fare should be agreed before starting one's journey.

Fez

One can explore the old medina’s alleys which mark a glorious past by going through Bab Boujloud, the ancient medina’s main access gate, without missing the souks which host the best ancestral know how of the craftsmen in Morocco.

As an imperial city, Fès hosts some of the best religious and cultural landmarks in the country: The Karaouiyne Mosque, the Bou Inania Medersa (an Islamic university with a sumptuous decoration), the Attarine Medersa (a koranic school with meticulous and fine decoration) and the Moulay Driss Zaouia, a sacred place in Fès.

Moreover, Fez remains an ideal place where one can enjoy the local arts of well being: a session with a guaranteed relaxation in a local hammam.

In short, One’s stay in Fès cannot be complete without sampling its local cuisine: tajine, couscous, or the countryside products such as the Khliaa, a sort of dried meat.
