8 Out Of 10 Fathers Want To Get Away (From The Family) This Father’s Day

RYANAIR FATHER’S DAY GIFT VOUCHERS AVAILABLE FROM JUST €25
 
Ryanair, Europe’s only low-cost airline, today (13th June) confirmed that nearly 80% of fathers want to get away from their kids this Father’s Day – with more than half preferring a weekend away with the lads! Sock, ties and mugs are off the menu this year after a survey of 1,000 fathers revealed 8 out of 10 dads would prefer a break, although less than a quarter want to travel with their better halves – and just 2% want to bring the kids.
 
Ryanair’s survey asked 'What would your ideal Father’s Day present be?':
 
  • 55% A weekend away with the lads
  • 23%  A weekend away with the wife
  • 14%  A new shirt
  •  6% A new golf club
  •  2%  A weekend away with the family
 
 
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said,
 
“Ryanair asked 1,000 fathers what their ideal Father’s Day gift would be and 80% said a weekend away, while more than half chose a weekend away with the lads.
 
Ryanair gift vouchers start at just €25 and can be redeemed against travel on over 1,500 routes – perfect for a weekend break, trip to a big match or a golfing holiday. However, inviting along the wife and kids is optional!”
