Limerick Man Scoops €10,000 in Ryanair Draw

LIMERICK PASSENGER MISSES THE MILLION BUT SCOOPS €10,000 IN RYANAIR DRAW

LIMERICK MAN BEATS 75M PASSENGERS TO MILLIONAIRE DRAW

Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (30 Mar) congratulated Limerick man Gordon Butler (from Shannon Banks, Corbally) after he scooped €10,000 by taking part in its Scratch Cards Fly to Win Millionaire Draw. Gordon, who purchased his €2 scratchcard on a Fuertaventura – Shannon flight in October (2011), missed out on top prize of €1m but walked away smiling with €10,000 from the draw which took place in Dublin.

Winner Gordon Butler said:

“Thank you Ryanair I am delighted to walk away with so much after investing so little, it was the best €2 I ever spent.”

Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:

“We are delighted that Gordon was selected from over 75m passengers to take part in our Millionaire draw. While Gordon missed out on the top prize, he still walks away with a cool €10,000.”

Ryanair Scratchcards’ Paddy Lynch said:

“Gordon really is one in 75million. Ryanair’s scratch cards are very popular with passengers who, for just €2, are in with a chance to win prizes ranging from Ryanair flight vouchers to a Fiat 500 every month and the chance to scoop a cool million.”
