RYANAIR CELEBRATES 85 MILLION PASSENGER MILESTONE IN THE UK AT LONDON
STANSTED

EXTENSION OF AUTUMN SEAT SALE- FARES FROM 99P PLUS TAXES

Ryanair, Europe's largest low fares airline, today (22 October 2004)
celebrated reaching its 85million passenger milestone in the UK.

The achievement was welcomed by BAA Stansted. Chris Butler, Business Development and Planning Director, said: "We are delighted to see Ryanair reach yet another significant milestone. Both Stansted and Ryanair have been at the forefront of the low-cost revolution and we look forward to their continued
success."

Ryanair now operates 186 low fares routes across 17 countries and this year will carry in excess of 27 million passengers.

To celebrate, Ryanair has announced an extension of its massive systemwide seat sale with fares up for grabs from just 99p plus taxes. The sale has already sold nearly half a million seats and the booking period has now been extended to midnight Thursday 28 October.

Two lucky passengers flying from London Stansted to Glasgow Prestwick today were presented with free flights and some gifts to mark this special occasion. Cameron Jack was flying to Glasgow with his girlfriend Rebecca Giacopazzi to

Ryanair's Head of Communications Paul Fitzsimmons said: "Since 1986 Ryanair has revolutionised European travel by bringing low air fares to Europeans for the first time, and the rewards for both the traveling public and Ryanair are clear. This past month has seen many important passenger landmarks for Ryanair
across our route network and we are delighted to celebrate our 85m passenger milestone in the UK here at London Stansted today.

"Bringing low air fares to Europe is something in which Ryanair takes personal pride; indeed this month is of special importance as we will hit the 100 million passenger mark. That translates into savings of €10 billion for our passengers over the high fares of other airlines - a bonus in any language!

"This weekend our commitment to offering consumers the lowest fares continues, with the extension of our massive systemwide seat sale. Seats are up for grabs from a mind-blowing 99p plus taxes, so get online at www.ryanair.com and get yourself a seriously cheap seat to one of our 186 destinations!

"And remember, anyone booking before 30 November and traveling before 21 December will automatically be entered into our 100th million passenger celebratory draw to win €100,000! That could mean even more money in your pocket for Christmas shopping."
