Ryanair Welcomes Dismissal of Ticket Generator’s Injunction

 
 
Ryanair, today (4th Nov) welcomed a High Court decision to dismiss Ticket Generator’s injunction.
Ticket Generator had originally gone into court ex-parte (i.e. without Ryanair present) on 12th October and secured an interim injunction. A hearing took place last Thursday (27th October) when Ryanair was able to respond to the inaccurate claims of Ticket Generator.
Today Mr. Justice MacMenamin dismissed Ticket Generator’s application to continue this injunction. Ryanair confirmed that it did not and would not interfere with Ticket Generator staff. Ticket Generator was ordered to pay 75% of Ryanair’s costs.
 
Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:
 
 “We are pleased at today’s decision. We welcome today’s dismissal of Ticket Generator’s application. Ryanair will continue to offer its passengers the lowest price Stansted Express tickets at Ryanair boarding queues at Dublin airport.“
