Alta Badia

Alta Badia, the Ladin valley in the heart of the Dolomites, is easy to reach with a comfortable low cost transfer from the airports Verona and Bergamo. The ski resort offers you the direct ski connection to more than 500 km of wide, sunny slopes an a central position in the Dolomiti Superski carousel.

And after a day on the powdery slopes, the après-ski scene is enjoyed in Alta Badia's cozy bars with live music, excellent Italian food and wine and local specialties.

Features

For the winter season 2007/2008 the lifts will be open from 25.11.2007 - 06.04.2008.

Insider say about skiing in Alta Badia: "there are so many pistes you could ski for weeks without coming down the same one twice".

In fact the Alta Badia resort offers you: 130 km of slopes prepared every evening with the help of 40 snow cats, 52 lifts, a well developed system of snow making facilities, the direct ski connection to more than 500 km of slopes in the Sella area and the central position in the Dolomiti Superski carousel (450 lifts and 1.220 km of best prepared slopes).

Our special advise: due to its central position in the Dolomite skiing area, Alta Badia is an ideal departure point for some of the most beautiful skiing excursions in the Alps, such as the Sellaronda (the ski excursion around the Sella massif), the "Tour of the First World War" (the tour that tour winds around the Col di Lana mountain, testimonial of many battles during the 1st World War) and the trip to the Marmolada glacier.
