The Obereggen ski resort offers skiing at its best. It is reachable by Low Cost Transfer from Verona or Bergamo Airport for 29 € (return ticket). A vast network of perfectly groomed runs, 100% guarantee of snow and amazing views make of the Obereggen resort (part of the Ski Center Latemar) one of the most attractive ski carousels in South Tyrol.

If you add into the mix spectacular views, the local food delicacies and a vast range of apres-ski hut activities, all this at a really short 20 minutes drive from Bolzano, you can understand why people like the resort so much.

Great skiing season at Obereggen from December the 1st 2007 to April the 6th 2008. 18 super modern lifts (14 chair-lifts, 2 cable cars and 2 skilifts) guarantee skiers some seriously fast uphill lifting from 1550 to 2500 mt. Max guarantee of perfect snow courtesy of the most up-to-date snowmaking system (115 snow-guns).

Over 43 km of impeccably manicured runs, 21,6% being easy (blue), 64,4% intermediate (red) and 14% for the most skilled skiers (black).

  • Good snow conditions are guaranteed from beginning of December to beginning of April. Ski pass Val di Fiemme/Obereggen is valid for 45 local lifts and over a total of 100 km slopes, ski pass Superski Dolomiti is valid for the 12 most beautiful skiing resorts in the Dolomites for a total of more than 450 lifts and over a total of 1.200 km slopes.
Getting There

Closest airport is Bolzano's (Air Alps). In a 200 km radius are following airports: Verona, Bergamo, Treviso and Brescia. Daily connections in between Rome and Bolzano.

  • By Car: 
    Take highway's exit "Bolzano Nord", turn right direction Bolzano, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d'Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova's crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Obereggen (about 25 min. from highway toll booth).

  • By Train: 
    For those coming into Bolzano by train, buses or taxis are available (about 30 min. drive). Free shuttle service (see your selected hotel for more info).

  • By Bus: 
    For visitors from Great Britain, Central Europe...
