Valle Sabbia and Idro Lake ski resorts

The Valle Sabbia ski resorts are Gaverland and Maniva in Lombardia region in northern Italy. They are reachable by low cost transfer from Verona, Brescia and Bergamo. There are good lifts in the resorts, which are very popular with first-time skiers or guests who want to get away from the crowds. Gaverland is a unique ski resort in the Natural Park of Adamello, which particularly takes care of families and skiers who love free ride and freestyle. There is a fun park and a boardercross slope. Gaverland offer 15 km of slopes and a beautiful ski cross country track of 5 km. Maniva is the other ski resort suitable both for families or to the young adults who want to have fun practising every kind of winter sport. The ski area offers 10 km of slopes inside a various and peerless backdrop, among pines and conifers woods. In Valle Sabbia you could practise all alternative winter sports like: ice climbing, nordik walking, trekking with "ciaspole", snowboarding, adventure sports...

And after a day on the powdery slopes, the après-ski scene is enjoyed in Valle Sabbia, bars with live music, excellent Italian food and wine and local specialties.

Getting There

  • By Car: 
    Serenissima Motorway A4, Brescia Est exit, you should reach Valle Sabbia in about 60 minutes, then Bagolino and Gaver.

  • By Train: 
    Trains to Brescia, from there connection with the local busses to Bagolino.

  • By Bus: 
    There are scheduled busses which run from Brescia to Vagolino and Valle Sabbia. The Busses stop in front of the railway station.
