Winter wonderlands in Graubünden.
Everything began with that famous bet in St. Moritz in 1864 which marked start of winter tourism in Graubünden. This pioneering spirit has remained unbroken for about 140 years. Individual holiday resorts such as Arosa, Flims Laax Falera and Davos Klosters provide a wide-ranging winter programme including opportunities for carving; half pipe and boarder cross; classic skiing and skating; winter hiking and tobogganing; snowshoe walking; or just lazing about on the terrace of a mountain restaurant. Naturally, a number of legendary events will also be taking place again, including the Spengler Cup, White Turf and the Engadine Ski Marathon.
