Montafon, which extends from Bludenz to the glaciers of the Silvretta mountains and the slopes of Piz Buin, is one of the largest ski areas in the Alps. The Valley, which forms the gateway to a mountain of sports and high altitude with ski regions of infinite variety, they can be reached easily by car with no mountain passes to negotiate. 62 lifts and 222 km of signposted descents of every difficulty grade ensure that skiers and snowboarders are comfortably dispersed over the area. There are slopes to suit both the smallest beginner and the seasoned expert on the regularly groomed pistes and virgin deep-snow slopes.
