A lot of skiers appreciate the excellent snow conditions around Oberstdorf. With over 120 km of slopes in five different skiing resorts in the two country region Oberstdorf (Germany)/Kleinwalsertal (Austria) everybody is guaranteed to have a great time! The ski season starts in Germany's most modern ski resorts in the mid of December and ends in the beginning of May. For cross-country skier and skater there are a variety of cross-country ski-tracks (75 km) and special skating tracks (55 km). But Oberstdorf is also famous for its winter walking tours - with over 140km of broached trails in the beautiful valleys and on the mountain summits of Nebelhorn, Fellhorn and Söllereck with panorama trails and impressive views. |
