The varied mountain terrain around Voss could have been made for winter sports. It is not without reason that Voss has produced more Winter Olympians than any other place in the world.

Voss is a small, cosy and friendly town, situated right between the two largest fjords in Norway, the Sognefjord and the Hardangerfjord. Bergen is only one hour away, with international airport and harbour.

Ski Activities:

• 40 kms of well prepared alpine runs, from excellent slopes for first timers to challenging runs for the very best.
• Voss has also excellent facilities for powder snow sports.
• The season is normally from November to April
• A total of 10 lifts - up to almost 1000 masl,
• Cable car from the town centre.
• Voss Ski School offers instruction in alpine, telemark and snowboarding. Open daily.
• Various types of skis, equipment and snowboards can be rented.
• Children's play area and a snow board park with big jump, half pipe and -boarder cross.
