Nassfeld

Nassfeld is one of the top ski areas in Austria. It's situated on the Italian border and offers over 110 kilometres (70 miles) of varied pistes and 30 modern lift installations as for example the longest cable railway in the Alps, the "Millennium Express". The Carnia run (2.5 km/1.5 miles) once a week becomes the longest floodlit piste in the world. The skiing goes up to 2,020m (6,627ft) and the resort has an excellent snow record.

    There is a service to Hermagor. Journey time is approx. 1.30 hours. Some connections are direct, or it may be necessary to be change in Villach
