Each of the skiing areas around Villach has its own individual character and appeal making all three popular among old and young alike. The Gerlitzen Alpe is renowned for its great runs, snowboard fun and lovely sunny weather. Verditz is an insider tip, particularly for families and recreational skiers. And where Carinthia, Italy and Slovenia meet, lies carinthia's southernmost skiing area, Dreiländereck. After skiing you can lie back and relax down in the valley in the hot springs and spas at Bad Bleiberg and warmbad-Villlach. In the three areas at total of 69km of piste are serviced by some 25 lifts.

    Journey distance is ca. 35km with a journey time of 30mins from Klagenfurt airport.

    There is a very regular direct train service to Villach which takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
