Font-Romeu

Font Romeu is in the eastern Pyrenees and has the highest amount of sunshine of any french resort. The village is perched above the Cerdagne plateau at 1800 metres with a fabulous view over to Spain and Andorra.

The skiing area is a vast unspoilt mountain with a selection of slopes for every level: 6 black, 8 red, 11 blue and 15 green. And there's a great surfpark for those who prefer the board. Snow is now guaranteed every winter on at least 40 of the slopes.

Unlike many of the Pyrenean sites, Font Romeu has an extensive Nordic skiing area with over 80 kms of signposted trails. Dog-sledding and snowshoe hiking is also possible in this resort.
