Gaustablikk (Rjukan)

The magnificent Mount Gausta dominates the area, and is also Telemark's highest mountain with its 1.883 metres above sea level. Here, in the southern part of the Hardanger highlands you will find Telemark's most beautiful high mountain terrain and miles of ski tracks. At Gaustablikk the alpine facilities will satisfy practically everyone. The area can also offer horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice climbing, ice fishing etc.

Rjukan has a good choice of shops, cinema, swimming pool, indoor climbing etc.
