Lifjell is a mountainous area in the middle of Telemark, with peaks of up to 1.300 metres above sea level, and with beautiful and varying scenery. Lifjell is ideal for cross-country and Telemark skiing, with its kilometres of prepared ski-tracks alternating between forests and high mountains. Lifjell Ski Centre has varying downhill slopes, with powder-snow runs and moguls. For the youngest children, Lifjell Vinterland is well worth a visit.
