We regret to advise customers that due to the threat of sympathy strikes by Danish Unions and competitor airline workers that do not work for Ryanair we have been forced to close our Copenhagen and Billund bases, effective 23:00hrs Friday 17th July, moving 2 of the based aircraft to London Stansted, with the 3rd aircraft being switched to Dublin. As a result of these base closures we have been forced to reschedule and cancel flights.
Customers will be updated on their flight changes/cancellations via email and/or the mobile phone number provided at time of booking.
Ryanair sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused by these disruptions which are a result of misguided actions by Danish unions. However our flights to/from Denmark will continue to operate just on aircraft based outside Denmark, whereas currently these aircraft are/were based in Billund and Copenhagen.
