B1 (Mechanical and Structural) Engineer Apprenticeship - Prestwick

Location: Prestwick, Scotland

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM) is the sole heavy aircraft maintenance provider for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's fleet of 290 New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

We are currently recruiting for individuals to enter our B1 Engineer Apprentice program. B1 Apprentices will be involved in aircraft maintenance, repairs and modifications across all B1 zones of the aircraft - wings, engines, fuselage & tail, cabin and flight deck.

The apprenticeship program is four years and based at our hangar in Prestwick. This is an excellent opportunity for successful candidates to work in an exciting, vibrant industry and obtain a recognised qualification in aircraft maintenance.

Experience and Qualifications:

Together with good hands skills and a natural aptitude for problem-solving, candidates must have a good understanding of Mathematics, Physics and demonstrate a keen interest in mechanics & aviation.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a good academic record and successfully completed, or are about to complete, an Aeronautical Engineering related qualification. The recruitment process for shortlisted candidates consists of a technical interview, a practical test and an aptitude test (all completed on the day of the interview).
