Fez Airport is located approximately 10 Km outside of Fez. There are no rail connections from the airport and there is no bus service from the airport to the city. There is a taxi service and the fare should be agreed before starting one's journey.

Fez Medina

The Souk Attarine is one of the liveliest of the city. It specialized in the sale of traditional medicines products. At Souk el-Henna, for centuries, cosmetic products are sold : ghassoul, soap, khol ... For precious embroideries of Fez, Kaftans and embroidered slippers, it is at the kissaria Serrajine where you find your happiness. Tillis souk is famous for its carpets while the Nejjarine for its cabinetwork. The Es-Seffarine square coppersmiths produce finely chased trays and teapots, along with countless other items of iron, copper and silver wares.

The Royal Palace, Mellah and Jnan Sbil

The main monument of Fez Jdid is the Royal Palace. The vast esplanade of Alaouites offers an impressive view of the finely carved doors of the Palace. On the other side of the city, the Jewish quarter (Mellah) is crossed by a bustling gathering all kinds of shops: jewelery, textiles… The 17th-century Ibn Danan synagogue is a masterpiece of Judeo-Moroccan architecture, and is well worth going out of your way to see. Between Fez el Bali and Fes Jdid, stands the Park Jnane Sbil, it offers visitors a real green space while respecting the original design of the garden.
