Getting to/from the airport:
By car
On the A48 motorway linking Lyon and Grenoble, take the exit marked "Rives / Grenoble Airport" and then follow the signs to the airport. Signs may also indicate "St Geoirs" which is the former name of the airport.
By coach
Low fare scheduled bus services connect Grenoble/Lyon airport with the Grenoble city centre (€4 one-way, connecting to the train and bus station), Lyon city centre (from €15 one-way) and main Alpine ski resorts. In the winter, there are special transfer services to all the main ski resorts in Isère (2 Alpes, Alpes d'Huez, Vercors, Chamrousse, etc), Savoie (3 Valleys, Les Arcs, La Plagne, Tignes, Val d'Isère, etc) and the Hautes-Alpes (from €11 one-way). Tickets are available at the airport desk and online.
By taxi
Taxis are available right in front of the airport terminal. The trip into Grenoble takes approximately 30 minutes, and costs around €55. The trip into Lyon takes 55 minutes and costs around €90.
