Our policy of exclusively operating the 737-800 is part of our strategy to bring you the cheapest flights on all of our routes, and in fact, our sole use of the 737-800 is not just good for fares, but also for safety.

Ryanair operates a fleet of over 300 aircraft, with orders for 183 new Boeing 737 aircraft and 100 new Boeing 737 MAX 200s, and options for 100 more MAX 200s, which will enable Ryanair to grow its fleet to 520 by 2024, further lower its fares and grow traffic from 103m customers this year to 160m p.a. in 2024. The average age of the Ryanair fleet is approximately 5.5 years, and is set to get younger with the latest aircraft order.
