Aarhus – The second largest city of Denmark

Take a couple of days off and enjoy life in Aarhus. Here you will find everything within walking distance. You will have the opportunity to experience a great number of both outdoor and indoor places, trendy shops and cosy cafés, forests and beaches. All through the year you can enjoy music and various events all over town. In Aarhus everything is nearby even though Aarhus is the second largest city in Denmark. Everything is within walking distance and you can walk from one museum to another, go shopping and enjoy the city’s many cafés. In the afternoon you can also take a walk in the woods or along the sandy beaches near the city.

Fun in Odense

Odense is the birthplace of the famous writer of fairytales - Hans Christian Andersen. In addition, Odense is a city particularly attractive to children as it offers a multitude of cultural activities. Enjoy an afternoon of adventure in "The Tinderbox" and become part of the tales of Hans Christian Andersen; see penguins and manatees in their natural environment in Odense Zoo; or rent a car and visit the amusement park "Fun Fyn Park" and its vast water world. In the Railroad Museum, you will be lost in the 10,000 m² of railway technology, discoveries, games and nostalgia. And finally, do not miss The Fiona Village which is an outdoor museum with wooden buildings and farm animals.

East Jutland – Ocean, Beaches, Fiords

To many, Herning is known first and foremost for hosting exhibitions and congresses, its location in the center of the peninsula however makes the city the perfect base for exploring the many attractions of Jutland.
