Taking place at the end of January, the Bordeaux Contemporary Art and Antiques Fair is the largest fair organised in the region.
At the beginning of February, the Jumping de Bordeaux hosts the final of the world show jumping championships.
In March, carnivals are celebrated throughout the Aquitaine region.
In June, Bordeaux fête le vin offers four days and nights of wine tasting, brotherhood parades, concerts and firework displays.
