Rzeszów Airport is located 15 Km from Rzeszow. Busses to Rzeszow, operated by MPK Rzeszow leave from the front of the airport's terminal. The journey time is approximately 20 minutes and costs 6 PLN / €2 /£1 one way. There is also a taxi rank outside the airport's main terminal. A taxi to Rzeszow will take 10-15 minutes and cost approximately 60PLN.

Bieszczady Mountains

English: The Bieszczady Mountains are the wildest part of Poland. At 1,080 meters above sea level there are unique extensive meadows called "poloniny" that define the Mountains beauty. In 1973 they were declared the Bieszczady National Park, the first International World Biosphere Reserve "Eastern Carpathian Mountains", and in 1998 obtained a Pan-parks network certificate.

The Bieszczady Mountains are home to wolves, brown bears, lynx, wild cats, red deer and wisent and the very rare Aesculapian snake. The Visitor can enjoy a narrow - gauge train ride from Majdan to Wola Michowa and from Majdan to Przyslup. In Sanok the biggest open air Museum is found (an ethnographic exposition of Polish - Ukrainian borderland). Between May and October a unique raft on the San River attracts the attention of tourists. Water sports enthusiasts can find excellent conditions on the Solina Lake. The exceptional microclimate and curative waters make Polanczyk Zdrój a renowned health spa.

Bieszczady Gebirge

In der Mitte von Bieszczady befindet sich der Stausee Zalew Solinski, sowie ein kleinerer See - Jezioro Myczkowskie. Den attraktivsten Teil der Berge bildet der Nationalpark von Bieszczady. Der Nationalpark ist eine der wenigen Berggegenden in Europa mit einer gut erhaltenen einheimischen Flora und Fauna. Die Bieszczady Region ist die Heimat der großen Säugetiere wie Bären, Wölfe, Luchse, Wildkatzen, und vieler Vogelarten wie Adler, Schreiadler, Schwarzstorch, Uhu, usw. Auch die Pflanzenwelt ist sehr artenreich in Bieszczady. Viele Arten sind nur für diese Region charakteristisch. Die Bieszczady sind eine außergewöhnlich attraktive Gegend für Wanderer, Reiter, Mountainbiker, Skilangläufer und Naturfotografen.
