Conkers - award winning family attraction dedicated to the natural worldThis is the ideal place to enjoy, play and learn about the life in the British woodland. The Great Central Railway is Britain's only double track main line steam railwayJourney back into the glory days of the steam train with a nostalgic trip on the Great Central Railway. Train rides are available every weekend and Bank Holiday throughout the year and daily from May to September; visitors can even drive a steam train under expert supervision. There is also a museum, working signal box and an historic locomotion collection at the station in Loughborough. Passengers can also choose to dine in style and enjoy a sumptuous four or six course meal while travelling by steam train.
