What to see in Milan

When you fly to Milan, the beautiful, wedding cake-like Milan Cathedral should be top of your must-see list. You’ll find it in the centre of the city at Piazza del Duomo.  The view from the rooftop platform is incredible and the perfect spot for a selfie.

A trip to the Navigli neighbourhood is another must do.  Take a canal boat tour or just stroll around and enjoy the atmosphere with a cup of coffee. Visit in the evening and you’ll find a great selection of aperitivo at the bars and cafes that line the canal.

One of the city’s most popular tourist draws is Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper, which can be found on the wall of the dining room of the former Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Book tickets in advance to avoid queues.

Of course, no trip to Milan should be considered complete without indulging in a little retail therapy. Head to Corso Como for the best selection of fashion boutiques and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II for some serious window shopping.
