Event Tour de France 2014 : Bergerac will be seen by the whole world.
"20 years!" After Jacques Anquetil in 1961 and Miguel Indurain in 1994, the third largest sporting event in the world had not returned to Bergerac for the last 20 years. And what a comeback!\
Indeed Bergerac is both the destination of the 19th stage on Friday, 25th of July, but also, the start of the 20th stage on the Saturday 26th of July. The only race "against the clock" of the Tour de France 2014, will start from Bergerac in the direction of Périgueux; the day before the final "sprint" on the Champs Elysées in Paris.

Here you can learn all about the different bouquets of the 13 appellations, watch a film about wine production and finally get to taste a selection of the local wines.
