The attractions of Marrakech
Most of the city’s ‘’unmissable’’ sights are to be found within the old city walls: the Koutoubia, the great square of Jamaa elFna and the Menara are all symbolic of Marrakech. All in a highly sophisticated decoration and perfectly balanced proportion, it is regarded as one of the Maghreb’s most beautiful monuments. The Menara is a sanctuary of tranquility. The legendary Jemaa Elfna is the nerve center of the city. During the day performers show case their talents including musicians, storytellers, snake charmers... which capture the imagination. First rides into town
Marrakech is really two cities standing side by side – the old town within its historic walls and the new town with its districts of Gueliz, Hivernage and intersected by avenue Mohammed VI. The city covers a good deal of ground, and is ideal for exploring on foot, by bicycle or by barouche in the new town as well as within the old walled medina. The Hinterland

Hiking trails are divers and numerous. Walkers may prefer desert trekking. However water sports enthusiasts can try the descent of rivers in a canoe up to Ouzoud.

Between the prestigious Film Festival of Marrakech, the authentic folk arts festival and the breathtaking Caftan festival, a feast for your senses is guaranteed. The first has the merit of gathering films of various nationalities, languages and cultures in one place. The second is a contribution to the preservation of the Moroccan oral heritage.
