Ryanair Announces Record Growth in Malta in OctoberAND CELEBRATES WITH 1 MILLION SEATS FOR JUST €10*
Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, today (25th Nov) announced that it carried more than 35.000 passengers from/to Malta in October, a 60% increase when compared to October 2007.
To celebrate this significant growth, Ryanair released 1MILLION seats for travel throughout Europe in December, January and February which are available for booking on www.ryanair.com before midnight Sunday, the 30th of November.
Speaking today, Alessia Viviani said:
“While the overall traffic at Malta airport has registered a decrease of 6.1% in October 2008 compared to October 2007, Ryanair has increased its traffic volume by 60%, carrying more than 35,000 passengers during this month. Ryanair has also increased its market share at Malta airport from 7% in October 2007 to 13% in October 2008, confirming that this significant growth can be achieved only thanks to the guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharge”
