PACE Mechanic

Location: Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance, Glasgow Prestwick

Reports to: Engineer/Check Supervisor

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM) is the sole aircraft maintenance provider for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's fleet of 290 New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

Duties Include:

  • Carry out PACE (passenger and cabin enhancement) duties as required and allocated with minimal supervisor while working on permanent night shift
  • Carry out rectifications of aircraft interior defects
  • Assist with other zones as and when required
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Complete the appropriate documentation
  • Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous aircraft maintenance experience is desirable, however is not required
  • Background in engineering/maintenance is essential
  • Experienced and competent using tooling and carrying out technical jobs
  • Willing to work permanent night shift
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential
  • Flexible approach to working in a fast changing environment
