Temporary Construction Project Manager
Location: Dublin
Reports to: Director of Engineering

To support its growing operation Ryanair is expanding our aircraft maintenance capability and plans to add additional hangar facilities at some of our European bases and is in the process of choosing several sites throughout Europe to build hangars on. To ensure the success of these additional facilities Ryanair is seeking a Temporary Construction Project Manager to oversee the development of hangar facilities
Duties Include:
- Main contractor tender assessment and recommendation
- Review construction contract conditions
- Contract administration
- Fulfil clients CDM co-ordinator role
- H&S compliance
- Liaison with airport authorities
- Liaise with planning department/officer
- Negotiate and control variations
- Control utilities connections/contracts
- On site project management through to practical completion
- Cost control
- Weekly reports
- Monthly valuations and approvals
Experience and Qualifications:
- Large construction project/site management
- Construction contract negotiations
- Employers requirements against contractor proposals
- Variation control
- Commercial focus/QS
- Familiar with CDM co-ordinator role
- Fluent written and oral English
- Confident & upbeat personality
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to multi task and able to work on own initiative
