Deputy Cash Office Supervisor - Temporary Contract

Location: Dublin

Reports to: Cash Office Supervisor

Duties Include:

  • Safegaurding of all cash, cheques and credit cards
  • Recording reconciliations and control of all inflight paper work
  • Issue and control of petty cash, expenses in line with set procedures
  • General administration of cash office
The deputy cash office supervisor will also be required to perform and assist with the following duties:
  • Preparation of roster on a monthly basis preferable with a month in advance
  • Maintain a record of all holidays taken, authorise holidays for all staff and provide Inflight Sales Account Manager with a copy of the annual leave sheets (exception is that cash office supervisor must have holidays approved by Inflight Sales Account Manager)
  • Send up weekend hours on a monthly basis (before the 10th of each month) - Bank holiday and weekends are always in arrears. Part time staff need to send up their hours to the Inflight Sales Account Manager at the same time and give a copy to the cash office supervisor in order that they can be filed away with the holiday requests.
  • Monitor productivity of staff and ensure that they follow best practice and procedures at all times
  • Ensure cash balances every day and resolve any issues with the bank as and when they arise
  • Balance petty cash and engineers float on a monthly basis and send an end of month report to the Inflight Sales Account Manager
  • Resolve any staff issues directly with staff

    Experience and Qualifications:

  • Full driving licence essential
  • Minimum Two years cash office experience
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Flexibility - rostered shift (including weekends) will be required
  • Proven computer skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong out going personality
  • Proven experience in handling, counting & lodging large amounts of cash (e.g. Bank/F.X. exchange Cashier)
