Ryanair's Special Assistance Services |
How can I book therapeutic oxygen? |
|
You can book therapeutic oxygen by calling the Ryanair Special Assistance Line. If a passenger requires therapeutic oxygen for use during the flight they should notify the Ryanair Special Assistance Line preferably on the same day as the flight booking is made or at the latest 7 days prior to travel, as there is a limitation on this service. Failure to pre-advise may result in the service being unavailable on arrival at the airport and you being unable to travel on your booked flight.
N.B. A RYANAIR THERAPEUTIC OXYGEN - MEDICAL CLEARANCE FORM must be completed and returned to Ryanair between 14 up to 2 days prior to travel, in order for it to be validated by Ryanair and returned before travel. The passenger must carry the validated Therapeutic Oxygen Medical Clearance form on all flights and cannot be accepted for travel without it. A fee of £100/€100 (or local currency equivalent) per booking applies to the provision of therapeutic oxygen. This charge is subsidised by Ryanair and includes administrative costs, maintenance of the cylinders, refilling after use, etc. The fee is payable at the time the Therapeutic Oxygen Medical Clearance Form is returned to Ryanair for validation. We are unable to provide a continuous supply of therapeutic oxygen for more than 250 minutes. However, customers should also refer to our FAQ on the use of portable oxygen concentrators. We are permitted to provide one inflight therapeutic oxygen request per flight. Unfortunately, Ryanair cannot accept passengers for travel who require a continuous supply of oxygen for more than the maximum time shown above |
