Maastricht Aachen Airport Maastricht central railway station bus shuttle departs 30 minutes after landing of flights.. Duration of the ride is 15 minutes and tickets cost €5. Departing passengers are advised to use bus 59 departing Maastricht Central Railway station at .05 minutes past each hour (weekdays 5:10-22:10, Saturdays 7.10-22.10, Sundays & holidays: 8.10-22.10). Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.

No matter what your style is you are sure to find what you like in the many boutiques in Maastricht (nl), Aachen (ger) or Liège (b). When you are looking for value shopping be sure to visit the large factory outlet centres in Roermond (nl) and Maasmechelen (b). Perhaps the best time for shoppers to pay a visit is in the holiday season when Aachen’s (ger) Christmas market and Maastricht’s (nl) Winterland attract over 1 million visitors each.

Spa visits:

The region has multiple large spa’s which attract many visitors. This his started during the days of the Roman empire, and had great influence on the architecture in the city centres. The largest spa’s are the Carolus Thermen (Aachen, ger.) and Thermae 2000 (Valkenburg, nl).
