Figari Sud Corse airport is located 40 kms from Sartène- Propriano- Taravo, 25 kms from Porto-Vecchio, 20 kms from Bonifacio, 40 kms from the "Côte des Nacres", 40 kms from Alta Rocca, 120 kms from Ajaccio, 140 kms from Corté, 150 kms from Bastia, 180 kms from Calvi.

A daily bus service operates to and from the cities of Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio. The journey would take 20 minutes. Shuttles operate also from Porto-Vecchio to Sartène and Ajaccio and from Porto-Vecchio to Ghisonaccia and Bastia.

Taxis and car hire are available outside the arrivals terminal (Taxi prices: about 39€ to Bonifacio/ about 48€ to Porto-Vecchio).

Sartène, "the most Corsican of Corsican cities" according to Prosper Mérimée is another wild and mysterious city. City of Art and History, Sartène has been built in the XVI century around medieval constructions situated on the rocky spur of Pitraghju.

Propriano, the seaside city, has a full of life trading and night-life, and will please to welcome you all year long.

BONIFACIO

Situated at the most southerly point of Corsica, the ancient city overlooks the International Marine Park. Bonifacio owes its renown to the majestic citadel that was built in the 9th century by Boniface II of Tuscany.

Its Genoese influence and vivid colors evoke the traditions of a region which has managed to protect its historical and cultural heritage, while at the same time ensuring its economic development.

The "Haute-Ville" (Upper Town) which has most of the town's heritage of monuments and buildings, is built on a limestone peninsula 1,500 meters long, and 200 meters wide.

Overlooking the straight, it juts out over the sea for 60 meters and dominates the Marina.

Bonifacio owns majesty beaches and it’s an ideal spot for taking part in the more extreme sports: sailing, diving, fun-board. For fans, there is the most southerly golf course in France, in the beautiful landscape you have ever seen.

Our city is also an artistic and festive place.

PORTO - VECCHIO

Strolling through the lanes of the upper town you will perceive the remains of its city walls which are occupied by the inhabitants and the merchants today.

South of the gulf you will discover long fine sandy beaches bordered by generous pinewoods: Palombaggia, Tamaricciu, Acciaghju and Santa Giulia. At sea you will distinguish the point of La Chiappa and the Cerbicales islands which are part of the natural reserve of the Bouches de Bonifacio together with the Lavezzi archipelago.

At 900 metres of altitude the village of Ospedale in the midst of the regional natural park of Corsica is the point of departure for superb walking-tours like the plateau of La Vacca Morta or the waterfall of Piscia di Gallu. Its artificial lake which supplies the region of Porto- Vecchio makes a refreshing stop-over.

The Corsican film library “Casa di Lume” and the town’s cultural centre propose all year round shows, concerts, cinema as well as meetings and seminars.

ALTA - ROCCA - ZONZA - SAINTE LUCIE

"Alta Rocca" is a mountain range including the massifs of Bavella, Ospedale and the plateau of Cuscionu (peak Alcudina at 2134 metres). The two major valleys: Rizzanese and Fiumicicoli open the region to the sea.

Bavella and its granite "needles" is one of the most beautiful landscapes of Southern Corsica.

Lévie is the capital of Alta Rocca and an important part of prehistoric Corsica. The village is home to the prehistoric and medieval museum.

Sainte Lucie de Tallano, is a very quaint village, full of authenticity and tradition. This village located over the valley of Rizzanese from 19km to Sartène, offers to the travelers a summary of the charms of Southern Corsica.

The village of Zonza offers a panoramic sight on the “needles” of Bavella and Alcudina and is a place of holiday resort appreciated for hotels, restaurants, regional shops...

Near Sainte- Lucie, we can appreciate the Gulf of Pinarello with its long pine forest and its beach of fine sand... The small marine village which welcomes the sailors is attractive by its shops, restaurants...

COTE DES NACRES SARI- SOLENZARA- CONCA- SOLARO

The « Côte des Nacres » stands out as a human-sized territory and also a centre of exchanges between three villages: Solaro (North), Sari- Solenzara (center) and Conca (South). The relation between sea and mountain appears as the element founder of the development of this unique territory.

This rural territory of exception presents an interesting historical heritage. The architecture of the villages of the inside symbolizes all the identity of Corsica. The religious buildings, the symbols of this historic and cultural wealth are numerous.

The Thyrenean Sea comes rocking gently a coastline full of variations composed of long beaches of fine sand and bays of emerald waters.

Bavella is a remarkable site of the south of Corsica. This grand site represents all the peculiarities of the relief of the island, surprising forms and colors, the whole sprinkled with immense forests of pines laricio (endemic and symbolic pines of Corsica).
